Last night, the cub scouts held a pinewood derby. The pinewood derby is a model car race where the boys (and dads) build cars out of pinewood. They come in a kit and include everything you need. Troop 1316 helped by monitoring the cars and carrying them back to the starting line. The pinewood derby is fun for all.

Elections

A senior patrol leader is a very important role. Ask anyone, and they will tell you how important it is. Run for senior patrol leader, and have a chance to be an influence on the whole troop. It comes with great responsibility, so run only if you think it will be a good idea for you. And don't forget to vote!

Broomball

Our troop's Christmas party was broom ball at the Sugar Land Ice Rink. We had 2 matches where you tried to get a ball in a goal by pushing it with a plastic "broom". Then we had a gift exchange.
